Professor of Cartography and Geographic Information Systems, Researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences。He has been engaged in the basic and application research of remote sensing and GIS for a long time, developed the theory of remote sensing geoscience understanding and calculation, constructed the research system of digital geomorphology and cartography, and opened up a new field of Marine fishery GIS research in China。He has presided over and participated in more than 50 key projects of the National 973 and 863 programs and the Natural Science Foundation Committee。He has won nearly 20 national and provincial science and technology achievement awards。He has published nearly 500 papers, 27 books, such as monographs and atlas, and his works have been cited more than 11,700 times。He has applied for more than 20 invention patents and software Copyrights。He has won the Young Scientist Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Youth Science and Technology Award, and the National Outstanding scientific and technological Worker。
