He was president of Yunnan Academy of Forestry。He served as deputy director of the Department of Forestry, Director of the Department of Forestry, and deputy Dean of the Southwest Forestry College。He is a young and middle-aged academic and technical leader in Yunnan Province。He is mainly engaged in biodiversity research, bamboo research, wildlife protection and utilization, nature reserves and national parks research。1993 to enjoy The State Council allowance;In 1996, he was named a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions to the Ministry of Forestry.In 1997, he was elected as the Party representative of Yunnan Province。In 1998, he was the discipline leader of the provincial key discipline "Protection and Utilization of Wildlife Resources" in Yunnan Province。He presided over and participated in the comprehensive scientific investigation and overall planning of more than 20 nature reserves such as Galigong Mountain and Xishuangbanna, and presided over and participated in dozens of forest cultivation, utilization, scientific research and production, poverty alleviation and development projects。He has published more than 40 papers in domestic core journals, more than 20 papers abroad, edited or participated in 16 academic monographs, won one national award, 3 national patents, 1 provincial and ministerial natural science first prize, 6 second prize and 9 third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award。
