Forest cultivator。He is currently president of Nanjing Forestry University and vice president of the Chinese Society of Forestry。The research of ginkgo biloba, cedar, poplar, bamboo and so on has been focused on the selection, cultivation, processing and utilization of good varieties, especially the research of ginkgo biloba has a great influence on the domestic and foreign counterparts。He has obtained 8 protection rights of new varieties of plants, 22 authorized patents, published 15 works, published more than 300 academic papers, and won 4 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, first prize of ministerial science and Technology Progress, and 1 each of the He Liang Heli Science and Technology Progress Award。The research results have been vigorously promoted in 28 provinces and regions, and have made great contributions to the development of ginkgo industry and modern forestry construction in China。
